New tree replaces hazardous old maple

New Tree Planting Replaces Old, Hazardous Maple

This week, the Giroud Crew removed a large, hazardous Maple tree from a property in Jenkintown. Giroud Arborist, Rob Nagy, evaluated the tree and determined that it was unsafe and needed to be taken down ASAP. However, the homeowners recently installed a new patio, and the tree provided shade on hot summer days.

Rob’s Solution: Go Big with a new tree! He was able to get a 17′ tall young Maple tree to plant in the old tree’s place. Plus, the Giroud crew planted the new tree immediately the day after the old tree was removed. These homeowners were able to continue enjoying their backyard barely missing a beat!

The homeowners wanted the new tree to be large so they could enjoy shade over their new patio. Giroud crewman, David Cardone, moves a beautiful 17′ tall Maple to the backyard to be planted.
