Lawn Evaluation
Our evaluations are always free. Your Giroud Representative will do a complete inspection to analyze the growing environment and determine what’s required to get and keep your lawn green and healthy.
Traditional Program
With our SIX VISIT PROGRAM, your Giroud PA Certified Applicator monitors lawn health, tests pH levels, applies five specially blended fertilizer treatments and takes action to control insect and weed problems only as needed; eliminating unnecessary use of chemicals.
Organic Program
Giroud’s program uses 100% organic fertilizer to build healthy soil and lawns. Our FOUR VISIT ORGANIC PROGRAM, includes regular monitoring, pH testing, and four properly timed treatments of Giroud’s 100% Organic Fertilizer. No herbicides, fungicides, or synthetic pesticides are utilized. Instead, Giroud relies on non-chemical strategies to address any problems.
Lawn Renovation
Whether its spot seeding a few areas or rejuvenating your entire lawn, Giroud uses special equipment to cut grooves and plant seed. This process ensures successful germination and establishment of seedlings. If dense thatch or compacted soil is a problem, aeration may be recommended to allow air, water and nutrients to reach the roots and stimulate healthy growth.
Insect/Weed Control
Consistent monitoring throughout the growing season ensures that we identify and treat any pest problems that may arise. To control weeds on your lawn and in your gardens, your Giroud PA Certified Applicator will apply a pre-emergent barrier in the spring to prevent weeds from germinating. Spot treatments are done as required during our monitoring visits to eliminate any weed growth.
Fertilization
Fertilizing your lawn through the growing season is essential. Giroud’s fertilizer is specially blended to provide the right balance of nutrients for even growth and beautiful color. Five treatments are recommended. Comprehensive Soil Analysis: In late summer, soil samples are taken from key locations around your lawn. The soil is sent to a nationally recognized Agronomic Lab to measure nutrient levels and soil quality. Based on the lab results, Giroud customizes your fall Fertilizer Treatments to meet the exact requirements of your lawn and determine if additional amendments are required.
